Que pasa?

It's been a few weeks since we uploaded some pics so here are a few along w some movies. (The Grannies may get a little anxious with a couple of them - but Joaquin loves to play w his daddy and he has fun :-)) Yesterday we went to the Tucson chalk festival - it was really nice - they had some pretty good chalk drawings and some good break dancing. They also provided chalk to everyone to make their own mark - which I thought was pretty cool :-)
Little Man is growing soooooo fast. He has 2 teeth now and is crawling!! Woah - it's pretty cool. He's a little go getter :-) I can see that he'll be sitting up on his own really soon, too. Oh yeah - we think he says "Mama" when he's upset. It's really cute :-)
I hope you enjoy the pics! Have a wonderful weekend :-)

OK, so he's starting to grow on me...

Meow! That's "Hey there" for those of you not familiar with the cat language. To make the rest of this post easier to read I will continue on in the human language of English.
Yeah, that's a pic of me and the boy hanging out on a Saturday afternoon - we're buds. I never thought I'd say that. Shortly after he arrived my world was turned upside down. Ryan and Penny acted like I didn't exist and only seemed to pay attention to this loud, crying kid who if you ask me was not as beautiful as myself. I really didn't care for Joaquin at all. And then he started to become aware of me and they'd let him actually touch me. His eyes would get big and his little hand would reach out and before I knew I'd better start running he'd have a fistful of my fur - OUCH!!!! But it seems that the little guy learns pretty fast as I've heard Ryan and Penny telling him to be gentle with me and he actually is. (The bald spot on my back is growing in quite nicely.) So I can tolerate him now - he is a cute little guy isn't he? I can't wait until he and I can roam around the house together and maybe even terrorize Cleo (my sister) just a little bit.
So here are a few pictures of Joaquin over the past few weeks. From what I've gathered in listening to their conversations they've been having a pretty good time. Yesterday they went to a street fair, nightly walks round out the little guy's day. He is eating spinach and kiwi now. Oh yeah and he is getting his first tooth.
