We went on a brief hike with the tandem stroller. Ryan got a good workout pushing it - with both boys in it the total weight is about 80 pounds. It was hot so Grandma Hintz kept Joaqo cool by pouring water on his head. All the Grandparents got together one day and we went to the Pima County Air and Space Museum. It was pretty big - they had wagons available to pull your kids around. Joaqo liked pulling the wagon himself but got a little frustrated when his Daddy sat in it ;)
Last weekend Joaqo got his very own big boy bed. He picked out his sheets - Cars. (He loves the Cars' characters although he's not yet seen the movie.) His Grandma #3 had sent him Cars jammies so he was thrilled to have those match. So far, things are going well with him sleeping in it - yay!!!
Joaqo is perfecting his big brother skills every day. Today he started playing with Sebastien in his swing and got him to laugh. Joaqo thought it was very neat when Sebastien squeezed Joaqo's pointer finger. Tonight before bed, Joaqo saw Sebastien laying on Ryan's chest - he said, "Brrr, brrr" (usually an indication that Joaqo would like a blanket.) So we handed him one and Joaqo proceeded to place it over Sebastien. He is the best big brother and little man we could hope for.
Here are a whole lotta pics. I will be updating Sebastien's blog in the next couple of days. Oh yeah - Joaqo got his first haircut the other days by one of the most cutting edge stylists - his Mommy ;) Fortunately he likes it - I'll post the pics of that later too.
